His Nails and Wood Handyman Service Story and Mission
Founded to provide trusted, quality handyman and renovation services, we prioritize personalized attention and skilled craftsmanship on every project. We built our reputation by focusing on integrity, attention to detail, and meeting the needs of busy homeowners and small businesses in our community. Pat Marshall founded His Nails and Wood after a 19 year banking career and after running a successful multi trade construction company that specialized in HVAC, Electrical and Spray Foam Insulation. He brings his background of experience, loyalty and honesty to the business.
The unique company name came actually from a song written and recorded by Pat's brother, Robert after spending time out of the country on a mission trip. The song, "Building a Castle" reflects on Robert's experiences on the mission trip and how we should be reminded of "His nails and wood" signifying the sacrifice Jesus made for us all on the cross.

Pat is our owner and operator. He has been doing repairs, renovations and house flips for 20+ years, mainly on a very part time, weekend only basis. Pat was part owner and acting President of a multi trade company specializing in HVAC, Electrical and spray foam Insulation. He led a company of 35-40 employees before divesting and moving to the next season of his career.
